The Silver Medal Award was established by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) in 1959 to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry's standards, creative excellence, and responsibility in areas of social concern.
A local AAF chapter may bestow only one of these highly-coveted awards per year.
We are now seeking nominations for this year's Silver Medal Award honoree. Completed nomination forms must be received by Friday, March 1, 2019.
Download the nomination form here.
All entries are IN! Now to give out the awards!
Check here after 2/18 for ADDY GALA details & tix.
Good luck to all those entering this year!

We accept Silver Medal Award nominations year around.
Even after the March 1 deadline for the 2019 honoree is closed, you can still nominate someone.
They would just go into the next year's reviewing for the 2020 award in the Hampton Roads Ad Community.
So, either before March 1 or after, remember those who have given so much to Advertising right here.
Think of the people who have achieved an exceptional level of success, strengthened our craft, inspired others to achieve in advertising and marketing as they should be considered.

Support the local advertising community through Hampton Roads longest running Advertising and Marketing organization.
The Advertising Federation of Hampton Roads (AAFHR) is a volunteer service and social organization with membership open to anyone in the Hampton Roads advertising community.
Since its founding as the Norfolk Ad Club in 1939, members from area advertisers, advertising agencies, media outlets, and businesses have donated time and services to help raise money for the betterment of the up and coming creative talent. Without the support of our members, businesses, and volunteers, this Ad Club would not exist.
From networking opportunities to speakers, member benefits, legislative lobbying efforts and so forth, membership in AAF Hampton Roads is an investment in your business and in yourself.
